Celia is a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist who has completed advanced training in treatment of a range of conditions such as prolapse, bladder leakage, bowel problems, pelvic pain, pregnancy and post-natal changes, pain with sex and more.
Celia is has been a Pelvic Health Physio for over 10 years and owns Elevate Physio in Nelson. She loves working with women at all stages of their life to optimise their pelvic and overall health, so they can enjoy their life, their way.

Hayley Guinness
Clinical Nurse Consultant and Founder of Stepping Stones Therapy and Yoga
Hayley provides multifaceted yoga and therapy services designed to empower individuals with the tools, strategies, awareness, and confidence to live in alignment with their authentic selves.
As a Clinical Nurse Consultant with over 18 years of experience, Hayley specialises in supporting people recovering from mental health concerns, with extensive expertise in eating disorders and body image issues. Her career has spanned a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient units, day programs, and community services, where she has delivered comprehensive assessments, case management, and both individual and group therapy.
In addition to her clinical work, Hayley is a trained yoga teacher with over 8 years of experience teaching hatha, restorative, and yin yoga in both clinical and community environments. Her mission is to guide others in applying the principles of yoga to everyday life, encouraging mindful, intentional, and self-compassionate living.
Known for her calm, compassionate, and nurturing presence, Hayley creates a safe space for clients to explore and overcome the barriers that may be holding them back from reaching their full potential.
Through Stepping Stones Therapy and Yoga, Hayley combines her extensive clinical and yoga expertise to offer individual therapy, personalised yoga classes, workshops, and retreats.

Helen Knott
Physiotherapist - Cancer Rehabilitation, Lymphoedema and Breathing at Activate Physio
Helen obtained a Bsc (Hons) Physiotherapy at the University of Cape Town, South Africa in 1988 and has worked in private practices, hospitals and special education facilities in South Africa and New Zealand over the past 35 years. She has been the owner of Activate Physiotherapy and Rehabiitation since 2008.
Helen has particular interest in pre and post-operative rehabilitation and the management of anxiety and complex pain and works extensively with patients recovering from cancer treatments. She enjoys working in close collaboration with medical specialists and health practitioners of all disciplines. She is passionate about patient centered, holistic healthcare and the importance of good breathing to maintain health throughout life.
Helen has completed advanced training in oncology physiotherapy and is a certified Pinc and Steel Cancer rehabilitation therapist, a Bradcliff certified Breathing therapist and also a Certified Lymphoedema therapist through the Australasian Lymphology Association.
Helen also teaches small group pilates classes integrating stretching and mindfulness relaxation to encourage patients to take time out fore rest and restoration in order to focus the mind and balance the body.
She loves living in Nelson and embraces all the wonderful things this region offers.

Marisa is am a mum of two tweens, has moved halfway across the world to be with her (now) husband and have battled with Anorexia through her entire youth.
Marisa’s personal experience with mental health challenges and the transformation she has experienced within herself has created a passion to help others see what can be on the other side of those difficult times in life, where you might feel stuck, hopeless, foreign to yourself or unseen.
Marisa have moved into the coaching profession because of its practical, action-oriented approach. She loves offering tangible action her clients can take to feel empowered and create change. Jen is an eclecticist and fellow human in progress with twenty years of experience in mental health and addictions, specialising in post-traumatic growth and holistic wellbeing.She provides ACC Sensitive Claims services for those affected by sexual abuse, as well as support for recovery from intimate partner violence. Her practice includes EMDR and counselling in perinatal health, addressing birth trauma, loss, matrescence, and experiences around subsequent births.

As a Metabolic Health Practitioner, Jen specialises in supporting the healing of chronic health conditions, mental illness, and addictions through lifestyle medicine.She works with a wide range of concerns including weight and mood issues, chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, diabetes, cancer, PCOS, infertility, substance use, and food addiction. She also helps clients reduce their reliance on pharmaceuticals in collaboration with their wider medical team.

Jen Holmes Beamer
Trauma Counselling and Therapy (M.Sc., B.Kin., C-IAYT)
As a member of New Zealand Association of Counsellors and Australia and New Zealand Association of Psychotherapy (ANZAP), Jen offers trauma-informed psychotherapy to support healing from complex trauma, PTSD and mental health challenges. Jen is grounded in evidence-based and holistic methods of trauma healing including EMDR and trauma-sensitive yoga, on a basis of a collaborative therapeutic relationship.
As an internationally accredited yoga therapist and trauma sensitive yoga facilitator through the Trauma Center at the Justice Resource Institute, she bridges talk therapy and embodiment practices in her therapy practice. Over the past 2 years Jen has developed and facilitated the first trauma sensitive yoga group program in Nelson through ACC-sensitive claims for survivors of sexual abuse, holding space to re-connect with the body after trauma. She offers supervision and training in trauma-informed practice.

Lisa is a ‘no diet’ Nutritionist that encourages sustainable approaches to nutrition.
Instead of focusing on restrictive diets and counting calories, she believes in reaching your body's most optimal state of health by focusing on blood sugar regulation, your relationship with food, managing stress and sleep, digestive health and hormonal health.
Lisa graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology and postgraduate diploma in health science and has since worked in clinics, gyms and medical centers helping hundreds of people with their nutrition.
Lisa has had her own experience with disordered eating and yoyo dieting which has made her passionate about helping others stuck in a cycle of dieting, to develop a healthier relationship with food and to achieve sustainable fat loss.
Lisa offers in person consultations for Nelson based clients and online consultations NZ wide. Your initial consultation involves an in depth discussion around health concerns, goals, medical history, mental and physical barriers, current diet, supplement use and lifestyle. Following this, you and Lisa collaboratively develop a realistic, practical and enjoyable plan which is 100% personalised to you and your goals, your preferences and dietary requirements.
